How Amberry Games handles your information when you use this website.

At a glance

We only collect what you give us through the contact form, plus a small amount of technical data needed to keep the site working. We don't sell your data, we don't run third-party ad trackers, and we don't use analytics cookies. This policy explains the rest.

1. Who we are

This website (amberry.games) is operated by Amberry Games (“Amberry Games”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). Amberry Games is the creator of the Roblox experience Berry Avenue. For the purposes of the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR, Amberry Games is the data controller for personal information processed through this website.

If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your data, contact us at support@amberry.games.

2. Scope of this policy

This policy applies only to the website at amberry.games. It does not apply to Berry Avenue on Roblox or to anything else that happens on the Roblox platform. When you play Berry Avenue, Roblox Corporation processes your information under Roblox's privacy policy, which we do not control.

3. Information we collect

We collect personal information in two ways:

a) Information you give us

When you fill out the contact form, we collect the name, email address, optional company name, inquiry type, and message that you submit. This information is sent to us by email so we can reply to you.

b) Information collected automatically

When you visit the website, our hosting infrastructure automatically receives technical information your browser sends, such as your IP address, user-agent string, the page you requested, and the time of the request. This is standard for any website and is used to deliver pages, prevent abuse, and keep the service reliable.

We do not run third-party analytics, advertising trackers, or social-media pixels on this site.

4. How we use your information & our lawful basis

Under the UK and EU GDPR, we must have a lawful basis for processing your personal data. Our uses are:

  • Responding to your messages — when you contact us through the form or by email. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in answering people who reach out to us, and, where applicable, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (for example, partnership inquiries).
  • Running and securing the website — including detecting abuse, rate-limiting, and preventing spam. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the site available and safe.
  • Meeting our legal obligations — when we are required to retain or disclose information by law. Lawful basis: legal obligation.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We do not use cookies for tracking, advertising, or analytics. The site only sets cookies when they are strictly necessary — for example, to keep an administrator signed in to the site's admin area. Strictly-necessary cookies do not require consent under UK/EU rules. If you only browse the public pages, no cookies are set by us.

6. Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it for advertising. We share information only with the service providers we need to run the site, and only to the extent necessary:

  • Email delivery — our SMTP provider (Hostinger) transmits contact-form submissions to our inbox.
  • Hosting and infrastructure — our hosting provider processes server logs containing technical request data on our behalf.
  • Legal and safety — we may disclose information where we are legally required to do so or where it is necessary to protect our rights, users, or the public.

7. International transfers

Our service providers may process data outside the UK or the European Economic Area. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards permitted under UK/EU GDPR — such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or an adequacy decision — so your data continues to receive an essentially equivalent level of protection.

8. How long we keep your data

We keep contact-form correspondence only for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and to maintain a reasonable record of communications, after which it is deleted. Server log data is kept for a short period for security and diagnostic purposes and then rotated out.

9. Your rights

If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area, you have the following rights under data-protection law:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erasure — ask us to delete your data where there is no good reason for us to keep it.
  • Restriction — ask us to limit how we use your data.
  • Objection — object to processing we carry out on the basis of legitimate interests.
  • Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format where applicable.
  • Complain — lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. In the UK that is the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). In the EU it is the data-protection authority in your country of residence.

To exercise any of these rights, email support@amberry.games. We will respond within one month, as required by GDPR.

10. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect personal data, including HTTPS, encrypted email transport, and access controls on our administrative tools. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to reduce risk.

11. Berry Avenue players

Berry Avenue is enjoyed by players of many ages on Roblox. This website is intended for general audiences — for example, people looking up the game, partners getting in touch, or fans following our updates. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through this website. In-game data is handled by Roblox under its own privacy and parental-controls framework.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top. Continued use of the website after a change means you accept the updated policy.
